The location is central, not far from the back garden with large TV screen, and the alleyway. You'll need 5 minutes to walk to Landwehr-Brau am Turm with nice drinks.

The location was great and fantastic and the room was fairly clean. The staff was accommodating and helped with the public parking. We stayed in a standard double room complete with the garden, beautiful garden view plus a king sized bed.

Wonderful stay, as always. Fairly clean, functional hotel built in a functional style. Great location when traveling to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Set right by the back garden, restaurants and shopping outlets in general and the centre of town in the downtown area. Bread and cereal for breakfast with a great assortment.

Located close to the downtown center, Hotel Gerberhaus offers convenient parking for a fee. The rooms are well furnished and the bathrooms have all the necessary amenities. The service provided by the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is a gourmet wonder, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Guests can also relax in the beautiful courtyard/garden. The hotel's location makes it easily accessible to charming shops and restaurants in the area.

The lack of WiFi in some rooms and limited TV channels in English might be disappointing for some guests.

Lovely hotel in Rothenburg, a beautiful hidden gem of Europe. Very well appointed, excellent breakfast.

On arrival at 6pm, the reception was closed and we had to wait 15mins for the lady to arrive.

Our stay at the Wastlalm chalet was extremely comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. Every home comfort/facility was available in the chalet and had we been golfers, perfect location for the golf course. We were greeted on arrival by Heidel (my apologies if the spelling is incorrect) who made us very welcome. I would appreciate if you could pass on our thanks to the lady for making our holiday more memorable, a great ambassador for your family company. I was most touched by returning from a trip to Salzburg on my birthday to find a lovely bottle of red wine on the doorstep. Most thoughtful and appreciated. Heidel again was most effusive when I came in to pay my bill and she noted it was my birthday. Thank you for a most memorable stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with the Gerberhaus to all my friends.

I've had an amazing stay at this hotel in a charming city in Germany. The staff here is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with a lovely garden view. The location inside the city walls is perfect - just minutes away from the main attractions. And the breakfast included a great assortment of delicious options.

No negative aspects identified, all was perfect.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Gerberhaus, the first was in 2003 and we had to come back! Rothenberg is a wonderful little medieval town with lots of good restaurants and plenty of shops. The hotel is charming, extremely clean and very well positioned in the city. Park your car and you won't have to think about it until you leave unless you plan an extended stay with day trips elsewhere. Good value for the money...breakfast in traditional german style is of course included. There is a small courtyard out back with tables and chairs and a covered area to get away from the sun and relax and enjoy the sound of the birds while you enjoy a cocktail, some wine or just a bottle of water....we went for the first 2 :)

There is nothing not to like about Gerberhaus...as long as you remember you are staying in a centuries old city and building with the quirks that come with all of that...but that is part of the charm.

Room is cozy and breakfast is superb...probably the best breakfast I have seen in two years in Europe.

Our room faced the street and it was noisy. This is the second time we have stayed at the Gerberhaus, but the first time we faced the garden and it was quiet.

We stayed at a hidden gem in a beautiful city. The hotel had a lovely garden that provided a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and perfect for families with children. it was a delightful experience.

The hotel is wonderful in every way. Seeing the room for the first time we made the comments, "This is delightful." and "What a charming room!". Breakfast was beautiful, something we anticipated each day. The rear garden is beautiful, a quiet place for reflection. Having a tasty dessert in the restaurant at the close of a day is the perfect way to recall the events of the day. The staff is most pleasant and helpful. Anastasia gave us an enthusiastic greeting and skillfully answered our questions about Rothenberg. This was our second stay at this hotel and we highly recommend it.
